Cris Cyborg signs multi-fight deal with Bellator

She is a former UFC and Strikeforce champion, with a record of (21-2).H

Her boxing and knockout power was so amazing, nobody was doubting that she would be a top contender when she signed with UFC.

After 2 wins in the UFC, she fought and won vacant featherweight title.

Regardless of her beef with UFC President Dana White, Cris Cyborg left the UFC and became a free agent.

Bellator promotion President Scott Coker made an announcement about Cris Cyborg’s contract: “The largest of its kind in women’s MMA history, multi-year, multi-fight deal”

Coker’s statement included the reaction of Cyborg: “You guys know they have a lot of girls at 145 pounds. This means you’re going to have a lot of fights per year, and I’m very happy about that, my goal is to be the only female fighter to hold four different titles in the same division. I know with you guys I can do that, and I just want to say to Cyborg’s Nation: Welcome to Bellator”.
