Jon Jones to Israel Adesanya: “you had the chance to fight me, and decided to make an excuse”

Jon Jones says he is done replying to Adesanya till 2021. “You get no more responses out of me until 2021”.

The feud between these two fighters started after Israel won UFC Middleweight Championship belt. Super-fights are the most sellable thing right now in UFC, both of these fighters are with almost zero loses, if we don’t count Jones lose via DQ.

Israel and Jones started a real twitter war and attacked in each other’s weak spots. Right now people really want to see this fight happening but as Jon says Stylebender blew up the negotiations.

Jon Jones (25-1, 1 NC) and Dominick Reyes verbally agreed to fight at UFC 247. The event is slated to take place in Houston, Texas, on February 8th. As of now, the UFC has not yet commented on the reports.

Israel Adesanya (18-0) won UFC Middleweight Championship via KO over Robert Whittaker at UFC 243 in October. After his win, he challenged Paulo Costa to be the contender for his first title defense. Even though both parties agreed verbally Costa’s injury made it difficult to book the fight, after that Yoel Romero’s chances for the title shot increased significantly.
